The ARINC 801 fiber optic terminus is an industry standard for fiber optic interconnect solutions widely used in avionics applications. The ARINC 801 is designed to withstand the harsh environmental requirements of Mil/Aero optical networking systems.  With exceptional optical performance and a ruggedized construction, the ARINC 801 terminus is suitable for high-speed data networking applications like avionics, in-flight entertainment systems, sensor applications and video transmission.

ARINC 801 fiber optic termini are designed to work in conjunction with MIL-DTL-38999 style connector interfaces and ARINC 600 Connector inserts. ARINC 801 fiber optic termini utilize a genderless design to eliminate potential pin and socket mismatches. The terminus features a rear release design for size #16 cavities with a keyed install for repeatable connections with low insertion and return loss values. The ARINC 801 terminus is offered in Singlemode and Multimode with both Pull Proof and Non-Pull Proof options. It offers both UPC and APC polish options. The ARINC 801 terminus provides seamless compatibility and versatility in aerospace and defense applications.
