LC Tab™

Description

The LC Tab™ (LC-T) is an all-metal body and retention clip constructed LC connector with a proprietary retention mechanism that offers a highly reliable and separable interface. Standard plastic LCs can weaken over temperature, repeated stresses, and shock and vibration, while the LC-T offers a highly secure metal connection. Designed to MIL-STD, TIA, and ARINC 801 environmental performance. The LC-T has a rugged all metal design with a metal tab that replaces the plastic LC connector, and reduces chance of accidental removal. The all metal design improves performance over temperature inside LRU’s. It has a secure interface for high shock and vibration applications and is separable for repair of fiber jumper to box/LRU level connector. The LC-T supports standard or short LC connector boots and can be terminated on 900µm and 1.6–2.2mm diameter fiber cables.
