Moog broadens its Opto-Electronic Product Platform with the availability of the SFB-G-BX10 board mounted transceiver. This bi-directional, rugged optical transceiver utilizes a DFB (Distributed Feedback) laser transmitter for 1-40KM reach using a single fiber for transmission. Aligned to 802.3ah 1000BASE-BX10 IEEE standard, the transceiver operates at speeds as slow as 400KHz and up to 802.2 1.25Gbps speeds. It features a single LC receptacle, through-hole data and mounting pins, and optional rear ground case posts for improved EMI compatibility vs. datacomm parts. It also features separate power and ground planes in the PCB for optimized power draw and efficient thermal management. The SFB-G-BX10 is offered with Parylene C conformal coating and an EMI shield for card edge mounting. It has an industry standard MSA 2×5 electrical interface with optional 2×7 pin configuration for digital diagnostics (BIT).
